About Revel Vet

No matter how long they’re with us, they outlive us.

Our pets don’t live long enough. There we said it. But while they’re here, they’re going to have the best darn lives they can. That’s our perspective — one shared by our Vets and staff (because we’re making sure they have amazing lives too) — and we’ll just bet you feel the same.

Your dog’s not just happy to see you. Your cat doesn’t somewhat enjoy that string you’re wiggling. Our pets are out-of-their-minds happy. Even when they’re sleeping, they’re having a better time than we are.

We built a new kind of Vet hospital around that idea — and everything we do, from the way we treat our staff to the advanced care we give your pets (and you) is designed to keep these amazing creatures as amazingly healthy as they can be.

The best team ever

Dr. Sarah Gornall, FFCP

Small Animal Veterinarian

Hello, I’m Dr. Sarah! I graduated veterinary school in 2019 but have been obsessed with animals and veterinary medicine since I was a young child. My professional interests include preventative care, internal medicine, client education, and improving the human-animal bond. I want you and your pet to have the best lives together possible!

I share my home with my husband and our three dogs, Tucker, Thea, and Toby. I love traveling and going on adventures, especially when the dogs can join in on the fun. I also enjoy spending time outside in the sunshine whether it’s relaxing with a book, walking, hiking, golfing, or gardening. I am so excited to be a part of the Revel team and to help you feel empowered about your pet’s health!

Dr. Kim Draper

Small Animal Veterinarian

Hi there, I’m Dr. Draper. Originally from Chinle, I have been practicing veterinary medicine in the Gilbert and Queen Creek area for two decades. I have known since third grade that I wanted to become a veterinarian and every decision I have made since then has been in support of my goal to provide exceptional care for animals.

I have practiced both as an equine and small animal veterinarian and look forward to being a part of the Revel team, where we focus on proactive, lifestyle medicine. I always tell my patients that I would much rather see them more often than have to treat serious health conditions we could have prevented!

I have a ranch full of horses and cattle a few hours away and four grandkids who are currently training to rodeo. My love is riding my horses and roping. I have 2 dogs with me here in the valley – Snooki and Billy — and a dog, Boots, who lives up at the ranch.

Laurie Corbin, FFCP

Hospital manager

Hey, it’s Laurie! My best friend’s mom (since kindergarten) owned an animal hospital and that started to spark my lifelong love for and curiosity with animals. I volunteered all of my free time as a kid until I was old enough to work; I wanted to learn everything there was to know about caring for animals!

My family is my world. I live with my amazing husband, 2 sons and my rescue loves – a Sphynx named Willie Nelskin and a Pitbull named Shelby Sue. We love to spend our family time outdoors seeking adventure on our side-by-side or dirt bikes. I personally find the greatest joy in fishing (see my photo!).

I am so excited to be working with such amazing people at Revel Vet. I have always loved working with people and taking care of their fur babies and am truly grateful to be a part of this team.

I’ve volunteered with rehabilitating wild horses, birds of prey and other wildlife throughout my life. I recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute to gain more experience and expand my knowledge in the Veterinary field.

My boyfriend and I share a crazy, 3-year-old golden retriever named Remi. We love hiking, camping, and going to concerts in our free time.

I am so excited to be a part of the amazing Revel Vet team!

Bryony Parcells

Veterinary Technician

Hello, I am Bryony and I have been working in Vet Med for 7 years! I am most passionate about getting to know my clients and patients and building a relationship built on trust. I enjoy many aspects of my job; surgery is a big one for me as it is challenging and I fully enjoy it. Mostly, I love being able to just put a smile on our clients’ face and make sure, as best I can, that all their needs and pet’s needs were met.

I live with my boyfriend Blake and his beautiful daughter Bella, who wants to become a Veterinarian when she grows up! We also share our home with 2 cats, Moose and Milo. Maybe we will add a Golden Retriever puppy soon—TBD! Outside of work, I enjoy numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, snowmobiling, wake surfing, and snowboarding. I also enjoy a good book; anything by Nicholas Sparks is my favorite.

Caleb Brown

Kennel Attendant

My name is Caleb and I am the Revel Kennel Attendant! I have not worked in Vet Med before, but I am excited to be in a great environment with the best people who care about animals like I do. I also love to clean and it keeps me busy for hours, so this is a great position for me!

I have 3 dogs at home, a Cocker Spaniel, Doberman, and a Pit Bull/Pug mix.

Erica Gallagher

Veterinary Technician

I’m Erica and I have been working in the veterinary field since 2007. I took a five year hiatus to raise my son at home, but couldn’t stay away! I love that Veterinary Medicine is a challenge on many levels, and I love being an advocate for animals, as they do not have a voice. Being an aid in their healing means more than I can describe. There is something very special about animals.

My son is my world- I am grateful for him each day. Outside of work I like to relax. I also enjoying going camping, and being outdoors when the weather is nice. In my spare time, you will find me spending time with loved ones, being creative, drawing, and reading.

Morgan Bodell

Technician Assistant

Hi, I’m Morgan! I just finished schooling to become a Veterinary Assistant and I am now about to start Vet Tech school! This is my first year working in the Veterinary field, and I absolutely love knowing that I am part of a team whose sole purpose is to make animals lives the best they can be. And, of course, I love petting and cuddling all the animals too!

At home, I have 2 dogs, 1 tortoise, and 6 chickens. I love being with my pets! I love love love my chickens, and would have more if I could! I love the lake and being outside any chance I can. My family members are some of my favorite people and I love being with them.

Heather Payne

Veterinary Technician

Hi, I’m Heather! I started in Veterinary Medicine in 2002. I appreciate all critters – furry and non-furry – and the humans that love and care for them.

My husband and I moved to San Tan Valley in 2008 and we have one computer-whiz son. Our pets include one cat named Zhenya or “Zen” for short, a crested gecko named Gigi, and many fish which include a silly dojo loach named Whiskers. I grew up on an Arabian horse ranch in Flagstaff; We also had llamas and many dogs and cats.

I’m usually either relaxing at home and playing Pokémon, watching series/movies, or hanging out with my husband and our son on an outdoor adventure. I enjoy being at the lake or the ocean in California, fishing, hiking, and bowling.

The people behind this new idea

Dr. Kris Latson

Hi, I’m Dr. Latson, but your dog can call me Kris. My first love was a dog named Skippy and after a few years of playing “Pet Vet” as a child, I knew that working as a veterinarian was my life’s calling.

Having spent 17 years working as a veterinarian at clinics across the American West, I know firsthand that burnout and compassion fatigue are real problems for veterinary staff, but I also witnessed pet owners never feeling like they were doing “enough” for the animals they share their home with.

As I ventured into multiple entrepreneurial pursuits and became a mom to two amazing boys, I realized that something needed to be done.

We needed to be having conversations about how we are enough.

So fast forward (because who likes reading someone’s resume online?!) to Revel Vet, which is the sum of my experiences and everything I wish I had while working as a vet at other practices and also as a real-life human bringing my beloved pets into vet clinics.

I hope that you enjoy every part of your experience at Revel Vet and always know that you are enough, today, just as you are!

Feel free to let me know how your visit was, I love hearing from fellow pet owners!

Dr. Keith Latson

Hi, I’m Keith. I have decades of experience working in animal health as a veterinarian, an NBC sports veterinary spokesperson for the Kentucky Derby and building multiple companies to help elevate animal health and veterinary brands.

While my professional life has been colorful and dynamic, my greatest accomplishment is my family. My wife, Kris, our two boys and I are a tight-knit group and we travel around the country together as we work and play.

Some of our favorite activities include skiing, hiking, fly-fishing – basically anything we can do outdoors – we are there!

After 20 years of serving as a veterinarian while launching and scaling animal health businesses, it became wildly apparent that something needed to change to make the industry, our veterinary profession and the amazing people who serve our animals more sustainable.

So we got to work and are so excited to bring Revel Vet into the world! We are doing veterinary medicine differently, so please know that you can always reach me here. And if you want to add in your favorite destination or view to see in Arizona, I am always taking recommendations!

Dr. Scott Meyer

Hey, I’m Dr. Scott. If you live in Queen Creek, you might recognize me as the owner and veterinarian behind Desert Mountain Equine.

My passion for equine sports medicine has taken me all over the world and has granted me the opportunity to work on elite racehorses such as American Pharoah and California Chrome.

While horses have been a huge part of my career, I have been so excited to open Revel Vet in collaboration with my co-founders. After all, what horse person doesn’t also own a dog or cat?!

When I’m not at work, I’m spending time with my wife, Julie, and our 2 kids in the outdoors – camping  and fishing.

I look forward to getting to know our town’s community of pet owners.

Julie Meyer

Hello, my name is Julie. I am a Registered Nurse serving the greater communities of the Phoenix area in Arizona. My areas of expertise are in Internal Medicine, Alzheimers’/ Dementia Care, and Liver and Kidney Transplant for which I served at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have served in the hospital during the last couple years and to have grown with the medical community in such a time of change and challenge. What a time to be a nurse!

I am a mom to two beautiful, energetic and insightful kiddos that keep me very busy, as well as wife to my husband, Dr. Scott, who owns Desert Mountain Equine.

I am a lover of all things outdoors and water; I enjoy surfing, wakeboarding, Ladies Lake Day with local moms, fly fishing and spending time and making memories with family and friends.

We are excited to bring Revel Vet to our local neighbors and look forward to growing our community of fellow pet lovers!
